ABOUT

Welcome to my little corner of the internet – WanderJules.

I’m a woman in my early thirties, a full-time professional, an occasional over-packer, and someone who is constantly thinking about her next trip.

I’ve always loved traveling, a spirit I take after my dad who would travel on a whim, make crazy travel decisions and always looked like he belonged, whenever he visited a place for the first time. I love the culture, stories, people, food and the unexpected moments that come along with the journey. So far, I have had the opportunity to visit 7 countries and 39 U.S. States. My goal over the next two years is to visit all the 50 states!

Travel is one of the things that makes me feel most alive. It doesn’t have to be luxurious or extravagant. In fact, I enjoy finding ways to travel as frugally as possible while still staying comfortable. I love discovering hidden gems, finding the perfect local coffee shop, chasing sunsets, and proving that meaningful adventures don’t always require a five-star price tag.

This blog is where I’ll share those adventures, the places I visit, lessons I learn, travel tips that actually work, and the little moments that make a trip memorable. But it won’t be only about travel. It’ll also be about lifestyle, everyday experiences, and the simple joys of romanticizing life.

One fun fact about me is that I’ve only visited about 3.6% of the world’s countries (yes, I calculated that), yet I confidently and unapologetically declare that Cape Town is my absolute favorite city in the entire world!
